The SCM is a semi-automatic machine designed for cutting mango into wedges and chunks. The operator loads the peeled and halved fruits on an infeed conveyor belt. The machine has a loading belt with two stations and two cutting units: the first cutting unit is a guillotine and performs the horizontal cut. The second cutting unit has circular rotating blades and performs the vertical cut creating fruit wedges. By activating both cutting units, the fruit will be cut into chunks.
In the event that only wedge cutting is desired, the first station can be deactivated.
